Paul Manes "Paintings and Drawings, 2024" Opening Reception

Redbud Arts Center is delighted to present Paul Manes and his exhibition, "Paintings and Drawings, 2024," in our West Gallery. Paul Manes is known for his dynamic and classical approach to the "all-over" composition. His art often features recognizable, conceptualized images, with a signature bowl or half-spherical shape. Using a palette of natural hues, kaolin pigment, and rich earth tones, Manes creates depth and texture in his work. He views his creative process as a blend of playful experimentation and natural progression, allowing ideas to develop organically. This approach results in a richly textured and deeply personal body of work.
