Dave Clark "Sardonic Short Stories" Opening Reception, May 2, 6-9pm

Redbud Arts Center presents “Sardonic Short Stories”, a solo exhibition by Dave Clark, opening Saturday, May 2, 6–9 PM. Clark’s sculptural works blend dreamlike imagery with familiar objects, creating semi-surreal compositions that are both playful and unsettling. Using materials such as ceramic, wood, foam, and plastic, he mimics aged industrial surfaces, evoking memory and time. Balancing humor with cynicism, the works reflect contemporary instability while suggesting resilience. Clark, who holds degrees from Oklahoma State University and Stephen F. Austin State University, has exhibited nationally and currently teaches sculpture in Cypress, Texas.
