Bayou City Funk brings the horn driven, groovefest and dance-a-thon to the Continental Club Houston! Sweet Magnolia Brass Band, direct from New Orleans, kicks off the party! Bayou City Funk Versatile deep funk/soul/jazz fusion outfit that mixes tight grooves, full horn melodies, and soulful vocals into positive and energetic live performances! Sweet Magnolia blends the genres of powerhouse New Orleans brass band with the earworms of pop music. They have shared the stage with Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band, Galactic, and Honey Island Swamp Band. In 2024, they were winners of the national South Arts Jazz Roads award. (713) 529-9899
