Art Exhibit by Kairat Sydykov Opening: Friday, July 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM Wine will be served. On view: July 17 – August 31, 2026 Kairat Sydykov, born in Kazakhstan, discovered his passion for art in childhood and began painting seriously after moving to Houston in 2010. A geophysicist with a PhD, he studied at the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Working primarily in oil, Kairat combines glazing, impasto, layered, and alla prima techniques. His exhibition Homeland and Roads features scenes of Kazakhstan, travel-inspired works, and paintings reflecting his love of tennis.
