Gustavo Díaz: "Botany of Thought" Opening Reception
When: Sat., April 18, 6-8 p.m. 2026
Join us for the opening reception in the upstairs gallery. Botany of Thought features a selection of Díaz's recent intricate and laborious laser-engraved acrylic works that engage the topic of the visual forms of thought. Diaz himself describes the exhibition thus, "Botany of Thought begins from an intuition: thought can be understood as a temporal fold. Ideas do not appear in isolation nor organize themselves as stable structures; they emerge, deviate, overlap, and leave traces within one another. The visual configurations presented in this exhibition explore precisely this behavior through forms that expand, densify, and progressively reorganize."
