Framing Workshop

Learn framing basics using a pre-made frame in this workshop with the Menil Collection’s framer, Mina Gaber. The workshop is inspired by our current exhibition, "THIS SIDE UP", which explores the behind-the-scenes labor in a museum, including art handling and installation. Discover how to best highlight your artwork and learn framing tips, such as selecting the right frame, glazing, hinging tape, and how to hang the work. Mina will also provide one-on-one advice for all your detailed framing questions.
