Star Pizza

Known for its deep-dish Chicago-style pies, Star Pizza also made a name for itself by being one of the first in town to offer a whole wheat crust. That and a generous amount of garlic make all its pies winners. Favorites are Joe's (with sautéed spinach) and Marilyn's (with Canadian bacon, pepperoni and onions). Pasta and sandwiches are also available. This is the original Lower Shepherd/Montrose location.
