Woven Clay Basket Workshop

Combine your love for clay and weaving in this beginner ceramic workshop led by recent resident artist Jihye Han. Learn how to create a wonderful centerpiece for the holiday season. First, cut and weave slabs of clay to create a ceramic vessel, and then drape your woven clay over a shallow form to create the shape of a bowl or vessel. Vessels will be fired after the workshop and glazed by HCCC staff to make sure the vessel is food safe (participants can choose from one of three glaze options.) Vessels can be picked up in December.
