Visible Mending Workshop

Join HCCC and fiber artist Molly Koehn to explore the art of visible mending! Learn simple stitching techniques using contrasting yarn, scrap fabric, and stitching motifs to breathe new life into even the dullest items. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to practice darning and patching and learn basic repairs, such as adding buttons. Darning prolongs the lifespan of garments and promotes responsible consumption by discouraging throwaway culture. So, before you toss out that beloved sweater over a hole or missing button, bring it back to life in this repair workshop!
