On Wednesday, August 17 from 6-8 p.m., Van Leeuwen Ice Cream co-founder and CEO Ben Van Leeuwen and NFL veteran Whitney Mercilus will host a charity scoop night at the Rice Village scoop shop (2565 Amherst St). During this time, sales from the purchase of scoops and pints across all three Houston-area scoop shops (Rice Village, Montrose, Uptown Park) will benefit the WithMerci Foundation. Indulge in fan-favorite flavors, scooped by Ben Van Leeuwen and Whitney Mercilus themselves, such as Honeycomb, Toasted Marshmallow S’mores, and Praline Butter Cake.
