Atlas Maior is an Austin-based ensemble blending Progressive Jazz with Middle Eastern, Latin American, and Indian traditions. Led by Joshua Thomson and Josh Peters, the group creates a dynamic sound shaped by expressive melodies, intricate rhythms, and global influences. Their acclaimed album *RIPTIDE* was named one of *The Austin Chronicle’s* Top 100 Releases of 2019. Atlas Maior has toured internationally and has served as Creative Ambassadors for the City of Austin.
