Matthew Gaines Marker Dedication

Join us for the dedication of an historical marker honoring Matthew Gaines on Sat. April 4th at 1pm at Long Life Brotherhood Club. This marker is part of a state initiative to honor the first African American legislators to serve Texas during Reconstruction. Refreshments and an Easter Hunt will follow the ceremony.
