Its that time again!
In celebration of the freedom of Juneteenth in 1865. This festival serves as a space for reflection, celebration, and community connection. This event honors the rich traditions of the African Diaspora and the powerful influence African rhythms and movements have had on dance styles around the world.
We will explore dances from West and Central Africa to the Caribbean and the United States—learning how these traditions survived, evolved, and shaped global dance culture.
.The event will take place over a span of two days. Each day we will have educational presentations and dance classes.
