Theatre Southwest is proud to open its 69th season on September 12 with Arthur Miller's intense and relevant drama Incident at Vichy, directed by John Patterson and produced in collaboration with the Holocaust Museum Houston.
Set in Nazi-occupied Vichy France during WWII, the play follows a group of detainees, predominantly Jewish men, awaiting racial examination by German officers. The detainees grapple with fear, denial, and the possibility of escape, embodying themes of guilt, fear, human nature, and complicity as they confront the grim reality of their circumstances.
