The 14th Annual Salute the Heroes Fishing Tournament will cast off on Saturday, May 10th at Waterman’s Marina in Galveston, Texas. This year’s event marks the largest tournament ever organized by the Heroes for Freedom Foundation, with over 30 boats and individual guides taking more than 100 warriors out on the water, says retired Army Captain, Phillip Jalufka, CEO of Legacy International. Hosted by the Heroes for Freedom Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, this inspiring day brings together community, camaraderie, and appreciation for our nation’s heroes—providing a unique opportunity for veterans and service members to connect.
