Harris County Flood Control District hosts public meetings on Proposition A maintenance property tax

The Harris County Flood Control District will hold a series of public meetings on Harris County Flood Control District Proposition A, the upcoming ballot initiative to increase the Flood Control District’s ad valorem tax rate for investment in the operation and maintenance of flood control infrastructure in Harris County. The purpose of the meetings is to educate residents about the Flood Control District’s current and potential maintenance efforts and the impact of Flood Control District Proposition A in their area. Interpreters will be in attendance to provide translation into Spanish, Vietnamese and Mandarin.
