Hands-on Houston: Punch Needle Patch

Join current resident artist Stephanie Bursese and Houston Center for Photography (HCP) for a hands-on creative experience exploring the intersection of photography and textiles! Choose from a selection of images taken by Stephanie Bursese, and experiment with embroidery using a punch needle. Participants will take home a unique, textured patch that can be added to clothing or a bag. HCP’s mobile education unit, Flash Drive, which is a repurposed ambulance transformed into a working camera obscura, will also be on site during the program.
