Hands-On Houston: Papermaking in the Craft Garden

This month, celebrate the return of cooler weather and our Craft Garden by learning how to make paper! Find inspiration from paper-making plants in the garden, and learn how to use recycled paper and plant fibers to form a sheet of paper. Watch as the vat of pulp is prepared, and then pull your own sheet of paper with a mold and deckle by couching the sheet and pressing the paper. Give your project a unique twist by adding fibers and dried plant material to your paper!
