FUNNY/SAD Premiere

Houston-based artist, writer and filmmaker Elena Karaytcheva will release her first essay/poetry book FUNNY/SAD, edited by renowned poet and author Eileen Myles. The attendees will have a chance to be a part of an immersive multimedia experience on Saturday October 19th, 2024 at 7pm at one of the most unique and artistic venues in downtown Houston,The Rec Room. The event will feature a live play where actors embody different chapters from the book that interact with each other and the audience. The evening will conclude with the screening of Karaytcheva’s enticing new short psychological thriller called GOOD APPLES.
