Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra’s performance at George Memorial will be a ‘hands-on music education at its most magical’

Curious minds of all ages are invited to the outdoor Jodie E. Stavinoha Amphitheater at the George Memorial Library for a free musical experience with The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra, which will perform “The Magic of Music: A Children’s Concert Adventure,” a compilation of works by George Bizet, Igor Stravinsky, Joseph Hayden, John Powell, and Edward Grieg. According to the orchestra: “Under the expert guidance of Principal Conductor Julie Sorensen, young music lovers and their families will embark on an enchanting 45-minute journey through the fundamentals of orchestral music. It's hands-on music education at its most magical.”
