Deep Rooted: Ten Years of Music-Making in Houston

Celebrate 10 years of collaborative music-making and “thoughtful, incisive programming” (Arts and Culture Texas) with Kinetic! The evening features no less than three premieres: a new work by composer Mason Bynes (who hails from Sugar Land); the Texas premiere of In Light of Sound by genre-defying artist Evan Ziporyn; and a short fanfare by founding member, violinist-composer Giancarlo Latta. The program concludes with Benjamin Britten’s Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge, which is a nod to Kinetic’s first concert in 2015 that featured this work. Kinetic Ensemble closes out its milestone 10th season by celebrating its Houston roots!
