Breaking Bread is a new series at the Hobby Center, presented with James Beard Award–winning chef Chris Shepherd, who trades his chef’s coat for a mic to host candid conversations with inspiring creatives. With intimate club vibes and a menu curated by Shepherd, each evening blends storytelling and food. This edition features Joe Kwon, cellist of The Avett Brothers, in a wide-ranging conversation on creativity, curiosity, and his journey from South Korea to the global stage.
