Beautify The Block

On Saturday, October 11, from 2 to 5 p.m., Sawyer Yards presents Beautify the Block in the North Yard (1824 Spring Street) as part of the Inside the Yards series. This festive block party spans Spring Street and Sabine Street Studios as the community comes together to watch artist David Maldonado create a large sidewalk mural, a new landmark for Arts District Houston. Attendees can screen print their own bandana, enjoy a DJ set and live music by Krista Sharpe, snap photos in a roaming photo booth, explore open studios and exhibitions, and sample drinks from local from local favorites.
